MEET THE DELEGATES
Chris is a Chemistry professor who is interested in the development of new catalytic process that are more sustainable and environmentally benign. He is most excited to participate in the "We Are Still In" events to help demonstrate to the global community that there are still a lot of people in the US committed to battling global warming. He is also interested in experience his first large scale negotiation and for interacting with people from around the globe.
Jennifer is a professor in Economics and Environmental Studies. Her research links topics in labor, development and energy economics, with a focus on development in resource-rich countries. She is interested in the different channels of influence of COP delegations and in the participation of the countries of the MENA region in the negotiations.
I'm an Environmental Studies honors major especially interested in public policy and politics, interests that stem from a desire to do my small part to combat global climate change. I am excited to understand more about both the global reception of Trump's withdrawal from the Paris Accord and the balance of technical policymaking and activism at the COP.
